Movie | The HelpIf you're looking for a great movie to see, we'd like to suggest The Help, after the best-selling novel by Kathryn Stockett.
The movie is about Skeeter (Emma Stone), a girl in the sixties from the south of America, who is an aspiring writer. She adresses a group of black women who have dedicated their lives to serving white families in Mississippi, to hopefully interview them. She wants to write a book detailing the maid's point of view on the white families for which they work, and what they go through on a daily basis.
The first woman who is willing to talk to her is Aibileen, the maid of Skeeter's best friend. Of course, the people around them do not approve. They go through with it anyway, and more and more women become willing to tell their story. And by doing that, they shake up the entire town.
