The English 'Advertising Standard's Authority' (ASA) has declared that L'Oreal's Revitalift Repair 10 ad campaign, starring Rachel Weisz, may no longer appear in its current form. It is said to be misleading.
The two-page ad contains a close-up of the actress with the following text:
"Wrinkles appear reduced, skin looks smoother; skin feels more toned; skin feels more supple; complexion looks more even; skin is luminous; skin texture feels refined; skin looks plumper; it's not a a facelift, it's Revitalift."

L'Oreal has stated that their claims are not false, and that their product actually does have those effects. The way Rachel Weisz was pictured, was the most flattering was for her. Including the choice for a black-and-white background.
The ASA has concluded that the picture was modified in such a way, it could give potential users a wrong impression of the possible results.
