Sure, you can find enough good stuff in supermarkets and candy stores to address your sweet tooth. But still, when you make something from scratch it tastes just a bit better. Think about cupcakes, a a good cake or a warm apple pie.
This time we found a recipe to make your own biscotti. This crunchy Italian specialty tastes even better when dipped in chocolate..

New haircut | Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway is one of those actresses that always looks picture perfect. And with her classic looks she can pull of anything.
We did have to look twice though, when we saw her new haircut..
She has cut her hair all the way for her upcoming movie Les Miserables. Her new hairdo is spicy and completely different then what we're used to, but with her gorgeous face she still looks great.

We applaud her courage, but deep in our hearts we prefer her long locks.. What do you think?

Food | Asparagus
It's that time of the year again! The 'white gold' can be found in supermarkets everywhere. Of course, we're talking about the white asparagus. They taste delicious when paired with butter, ham, eggs and chives. Simple but tasty. And that's just one of the possible dishes. We have selected a few of our personal favourites to share with you.

But before we go to the recipes, we thought we'd share some fun facts about the white asparagus.
Did you know that:
- a stem can grow up to 7 centimeters a day?
- asparagus are said to have a positive influence on your love life?
- asparagus are easier to peel if you lay them in cold water for half an hour?
- they contain next to no calories? That's why they're part of the food group with the lowest calories.
- they make your pee smell funny? Blame it on the sulfurous particles!

We have seen a lot of the 'ombre' trend lately, in hairstyles and clothing. Ombre refers to the progression of one color into another, usually from dark to light.
And lucky for us, this trend can also be applied on the nails. It ain't easy but result is worth the effort. Below you'll find a few inspirational images to see what it could look like.

When temperatures rise too more-than-comfortable heights, walking in sky high pumps isn't always as fun as it should be. Of course you can wear those cute (flat) sandals, but those aren't always appropriate for diners, weddings or parties.
We think that's why wedges keep coming back whenever summer is about to arrive. Walking tall is much more easier, because they give more support to your feet. And they come in basic and glamorous designs. Ideal for vacations, or any warm weather for that matter.

Madonna | Commercial 'Truth of Dare'
The commercial for Madonna's new fragrance 'Truth or Dare' has caused quite some stir. It's said to be to sexy for broadcasting during the day. At least, that's the opinion of ABC (part of the Disney network). They have come up with a list of changes, such as enlarging of the bra to cover up more of the boobs.

Now we have become used to seeing Madonna semi-naked, but we were curious to see what everyone was talking about.

Most beautiful people 2012 | Miranda Kerr
Australian magazine 'Who' has selected supermodel Miranda Kerr as the most beautiful person of 2012. Together with her supercute baby son Flynn she shines on the cover and they are the subject of an elaborate photo shoot. The model, mother, wife of (Orlando Bloom) and entrepreneur prefers to keep her son out of the limelights, but for this occasion she made an exception.

As a much sought-after model, well-known for being one of lingerie brand Victoria's Secret's 'angels', her career isn't on first place anymore. First she is "wife and mother, work comes after". And with two such beautiful men in her life, who blames her?

Prints are a downright fashion trend every summer season. This year we're not looking at the flower print or the polkadot on our summer dress, but we say yes to a basic shirt with a printed pair of pants! Snakeskin, tiger stripes, flowers, take your pick.
Combine the eye catching print with a casual shirt to make your outfit look classy instead of trashy.
