Women | Pictures
Far before internet became accessible for everyone, we loved sharing our pictures. To show how our vacation had been. Even then we secretly hid pictures that didn't show our most fabulous side. And those pictures were always about ourselves. We never hid our friends because they surely looked great in every single picture anyway!

With all the different social media channels we now not only share our pictures with friends and family, even strangers can view what we did, where and with whom. Of course you don't put any ugly pictures of yourself online, but those of our friends seem to slip through. Why do we do that?

A survey by MyMemory.co.uk (taken with 1.500 British women) shows that 25 percent of those women have put a friend's not-so-flattering picture on the internet starring her in a bikini. And over three quarters of the women have placed a picture online of a friend whose outfit wasn't looking too great.

So why do we do this? According to the survey these bad pictures are the result of 'revenge'. It often is a revenge act as a result of a bad picture of themselves that has been placed by that same friend.
