The positive effect of drinking green tea have been stated several times before. Drinking two - three cups per day should be good when dieting.

Red carpet | Grammy Awards
Last Sunday, the biggest music party of the business took place in Los Angeles. The Grammy Awards were handed out to the top of the industry. And as expected, Adele was the big winner of the evening, taking home, among others, the Grammy for best album of the year.
It was also the evening of the glitter dress. Supersexy and glamorous, because they didn't show too much skin.

Restaurant Tip | Chang-I
Ordering a 'number 10' or Fu Yong Hai works when you're hungry and want something to eat, fast. But it doesn't make for a romantic dinner.

Chinese restaurant Chang-I in Amsterdam is different; it offers a truly nice and cosy atmosphere, and true Chinese dishes. It is suitable for a both a romantic dinner and a bigger group of people.
The ingredients represent the diverse Chinese kitchen as a whole. And besides the sublime kitchen they offer a large selection of wines that complement the tasty courses.

If you love a surprise, we suggest choosing the chef's menu. But if you prefer selecting your own dishes, there is a great à la carte menu. Our favourites:

• Wagyu carpaccio with baked duck liver and soy-caramel sauce
• Vegetarian dumpling filled with enoki, glass noodles and tofu
• Spicy Thai fish pot
• Grilled tenderloin with Yu-Hsiang sauce

And we're not the only ones who love this restaurant; Chang-I is the number two on the list of best Chinese restaurants in Holland, and is listed as the number one Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam (both 2011).

Fashion colour | Yellow
The fashion colour of this week is: yellow! Yellow is a particularly sunny colour. But beware, when yellow looks cold and harsh, there aren't that many people who can handle that colour.
In many (christian) countries, yellow is symbolic for Easter, and the association with with cute baby chicks is purely random.

Yellow can be combined with practically every other colour. But be careful: the bright variant is a little more difficult to pair.

Human rights | Models
Model Sara Ziff (29) has put together an interest group in New York, together with other models, to help guarantee the rights of (young) models in the fashion industry: Model Alliance.

The group wants to make sure that models get more privacy backstage, and wants to prevent the capturing of nude pictures of these models without permission. Besides that, they're going to start a program that teaches models how to deal with sexual intimidation.

Sara Ziff states that most models start in this business when they're still kids. And the industry doesn't obey much of the laws preventing child labour, lacks knowledge of labour relations, and is still troubled by -alleged- sexual harassments.

But, hopefully, young models will be better protected in the future. So thumbs up for Model Alliance!

Madonna | Super Bowl
Last sunday, Madonna shined during the Super Bowl break in Indianapolis. Her performance was filled with special elements. She performed old hits like Vogue and Like a prayer, and also performed her new single Give me all your luvin. During the show, she was supported by Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. (who shocked the audience by giving the finger) and Cee-Lo Green. And we couldn't take our eyes of Madonna's beautiful outfits, designed by Givenchy and Philip Treacy.

Pilot | The Carrie Diaries
For those of you who haven't heard: small, but very good news for all you 'Sex and the City' fans out there: American network CW is said to start filming a pilot of the book 'The Carrie Diaries'. This book, written by  Candace Bushnell, tells about Carrie's life before 'Sex and the City'. We will start following her in her senior year of high school.

With no third movie coming up (yet) and the series having stopped years ago, this is fantastic news.
We can hardly wait!

Style | Lauren Conrad
Last time we talked about Kristin Cavallari, this week it's Lauren Conrad's turn. Today she turns 26 years old! It is the girl that, after starring in Laguna Beach and The Hills, turned into a bonafide fashionista and proved to be a real entrepreneur.

A clothing line with Kohl's, her own make-up line, 2 novel bestsellers and her own website 'The Beauty Department'. Her own first clothing line didn't work out, unfortunately, but with 'Paper Crown' she started a new fashion line with clothes she herself would wear. Because that is what we want, Lauren Conrad's clothes.

Her style is simple and classy. The black Chanel bag is a wardrobe staple and leather leggings is also one of her favourites.
