Hollywood classics | Remakes
The last couple of years there have been a lot of remakes of some of Hollywood's biggest classics. And the next few years will be no different, since there are a few more remakes coming up.
We are looking forward the most to these movies:

Carrie
The adaptation of Stephen King's horror novel starring Sissy Spacek in 1976, is being remade this year. Young actress Chloë Moretz is taking on the role of Carrie, a girl with telekinetic powers is taking revenge on all the people that have made her life hell after yet another public humiliation.



















The Great Gatsby
The new version of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel is planned to be released in December 2012, starring Leonardo DiCaprio (Jay Gatsby) and Carry Mulligan (Daisy Buchanan). The movie tells the story of life during the roaring twenties in and around New York City. A time where some people made a lot of money with bootlegging. One of them is Jay Gatsby, a mysterious millionaire who throws lavishing parties at his estate.



















Batman
The Batman series already knows different adaptations, the latest two, 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight' being part of a trilogy. This summer the third and last of the series is being released: 'The Dark Knight Rises'. A well-known character will be re-introduced, namely Catwoman. Played in 1992 by Michelle Pfeiffer, know reprised by actress Anne Hathaway.



















Annie
This Broadway hit about orphan Annie had been made into a movie in 1982. In the remake, Willow Smith (daughter of actor Will Smith) stars as Annie. Family friend Jay-Z will be the film's producer.
