If there is one city in the Netherlands that is revising its image, it's Tilburg (south of Holland). What was once a cold industrial city, is turning into a cosy yet modern city. Also when it comes to restaurants.Restaurant Sjieque can be added to list of new and interesting restaurants. Sjieque is located in a beautiful monumental building in the centre of Tilburg, only a few steps away from a parking garage.
Sjieque is a restaurant with high standards, but at the same time it's affordable and different. That shows in the dishes. Beautiful and pure tastes, and the appearance of the plates is impeccable.
A three-course diner menu starts from 31,50. But a la carte is now problem either.
Our favourite dishes? The already popular chuck tender tartare, and the scallops.
Of course, it always possible to adjust dishes (for: pregnancy, allergy, diet, vegetarian).
